SMM February 21 News: According to SMM communication, as of this Thursday (February 20), the total zinc ingot inventory across SMM's seven regions reached 137,100 mt, an increase of 13,800 mt compared to February 13 and an increase of 1,500 mt compared to February 17, with domestic inventory recording a rise. Inventories in Shanghai and Tianjin increased, mainly due to continuous zinc ingot arrivals at local warehouses during the week, while downstream purchases and cargo pick-up were average, leading to further inventory growth. In Guangdong, inventories decreased slightly as zinc ingots also arrived at local warehouses during the week, but downstream enterprises in Guangdong resumed production and gradually restocked based on rigid demand, resulting in a slight inventory reduction. Overall, the original three-region inventory increased by 1,300 mt, while the seven-region inventory increased by 1,500 mt. 》Subscribe to View SMM Historical Spot Metal Prices
