Today, the mainstream quotations for magnesium ingot smelters in Fugu and Shenmu, Shaanxi, were 16,000 yuan/mt, and the transaction prices for 99.9% magnesium ingots ranged from 15,900 to 15,950 yuan/mt, with magnesium prices remaining stable.
The magnesium ingot market remained stable today. Due to the continued sluggishness in raw material prices, market confidence remained weak, and the consumption of initial inventory required some time. Therefore, before demand recovers, magnesium ingot prices face downward pressure. However, as demand gradually recovers and supply-side production halts and maintenance occur, the gradual reduction in magnesium ingot inventory is expected to restore market confidence in magnesium prices.
