SMM, February 14: This week, the lead-acid battery end-use market has largely resumed post-holiday operations, and dealers have gradually restocked based on demand. However, considering the current moderate battery consumption and the expected traditional off-season in March, post-holiday restocking by dealers has been relatively cautious, primarily driven by rigid demand. On the producer side, with the operating rate of production lines increasing, downstream enterprises have gradually started purchasing lead ingots this week. Spot market transactions have relatively improved, but due to the relatively small gap in lead ingot demand, downstream enterprises have engaged in more price negotiations, and spot discounts have significantly widened WoW.
