This week, a smelter in Henan Province slightly reduced production during the Chinese New Year holiday, while another small-scale smelter underwent routine maintenance, leading to a slight decline in the operating rate in the region. In Hunan Province, one primary lead smelter partially resumed operations but remained unstable, while two other smelters entered routine maintenance for the Chinese New Year holiday ahead of schedule. In Yunnan Province, the smelter that halted production for maintenance last week has not yet resumed operations, and another smelter conducted maintenance and production cuts around the Lunar New Year. Other smelters in the region maintained stable production. Outside the survey samples of the three provinces, smelters in Jiangxi Province have not yet resumed full production, while smelters in Guangdong Province slightly increased production this week after resuming operations following maintenance.
