In terms of prices, due to the prolonged price war and the pressure from battery cell manufacturers to lower prices, separator material prices have already been suppressed to relatively low levels. As the Chinese New Year approaches, downstream battery cell manufacturers have seen a pullback in demand, and operating rates have also declined. Under this backdrop of weak supply and demand, downstream battery cell manufacturers have mostly paused price suppression to ensure procurement, resulting in relatively stable separator prices this week. Looking ahead, as separator manufacturers continue to release new capacity, the market may still face an oversupply situation. Therefore, separator manufacturers may slightly lower their quotations to compete for market share.
