At the beginning of this week, lithium hydroxide prices remained stable overall. On the production side, some companies are continuing maintenance and upgrades as planned, resulting in a relatively low operating rate. In the market, the supply side showed a persistent sentiment to stand firm on quotes due to high costs and slow progress in long-term agreements, while on the demand side, transactions gradually diminished as previous stockpiling was largely completed and logistics gradually came to a halt. Regarding the progress of long-term agreement negotiations, upstream and downstream parties continued discussions this week, but due to unclear post-holiday demand conditions, it has been difficult to reach consensus on volumes and discounts at this stage. The lithium hydroxide market was sluggish this week.
