Cost: This week, the average price of #421 silicon (for silicone) in east China was 12,150 yuan/mt, remaining stable WoW. In the final week, market transactions were limited, and prices remained steady. The price of methyl chloride dropped slightly compared to earlier periods, with transaction prices in east China at 2,600 yuan/mt, showing a slight WoW decline. The current comprehensive cost for monomer producers has slightly decreased.
DMC: This week, domestic DMC quotations ranged from 12,500 to 13,100 yuan/mt, with market prices remaining stable. The online store opening price of DMC from monomer producers in Shandong was 12,800 yuan/mt, with prices temporarily stable. Leading enterprises quoted DMC at 13,500 yuan/mt, maintaining stable quotations. However, domestic market transactions were limited this week, with most monomer producers focusing on pre-orders for post-holiday deliveries. Pre-order prices ranged from 12,600 to 12,800 yuan/mt. In the spot market, logistics had ceased operations, resulting in almost no transactions, except for a few courier orders. Prices remained stable before the holiday.
Silicone Oil: This week, domestic dimethyl silicone oil prices remained stable, with current market quotations ranging from 14,000 to 15,500 yuan/mt and an average price of 14,750 yuan/mt, showing no adjustments WoW. Most domestic silicone oil producers have already started their holiday breaks, leading to a decline in supply. Some traders in surrounding areas were still taking orders, but prices showed no significant changes compared to earlier periods, and trading volumes were limited. Silicone oil prices remained stable before the holiday, awaiting post-holiday demand-side adjustments.
107 Silicone Rubber: This week, the price of 107 silicone rubber remained stable, with current quotations ranging from 12,700 to 13,500 yuan/mt and an average price of 13,100 yuan/mt. By the end of last week, domestic 107 silicone rubber market transactions had mostly concluded, with earlier transaction prices primarily at the current low levels. Many 107 silicone rubber producers have taken pre-orders for post-holiday deliveries, so a small number of producers continued production this week. However, production during the Chinese New Year holiday remained low, and prices temporarily stayed stable.
Silicone MVQ: This week, the price of silicone MVQ ranged from 13,600 to 14,200 yuan/mt, with an average price of 13,900 yuan/mt, remaining stable. Domestic market transactions were limited this week. After leading enterprises offered discounts earlier, some silicone MVQ producers engaged in competitive pricing, causing market transactions to fluctuate. However, as the week progressed, downstream enterprises had mostly gone on holiday, reducing the willingness of silicone MVQ producers to compete on price. With logistics halted, quotations remained stable, and a slight price increase is expected after the holiday.
