SMM, January 21: Today, the SMM 1# lead average price increased by 25 yuan/mt from the previous day to 16,700 yuan/mt, with weak supply and demand in the spot market. Some suppliers still showed willingness to sell, with mainstream secondary refined lead quoted at discounts of 75-50 yuan/mt against the SMM 1# lead average price on an ex-factory basis, and individual quotations at around 16,750 yuan/mt delivered nearby. The ex-factory prices of refined lead excluding tax were reported at 15,750-15,800 yuan/mt.
