From January 11 to January 17, 2025, the weekly operating rate of SMM secondary lead in four provinces was 44.65%, an increase of 2.21 percentage points WoW. In Anhui, large smelters slightly increased production after resuming operations, while in Henan, production increased at some smelters, driving up the regional operating rate. In Jiangsu, certain large smelters are expected to maintain production during the Chinese New Year, with current production remaining stable. This week, a new smelter in Inner Mongolia suspended operations for maintenance, with the resumption date yet to be determined.
