SMM China Rare Earth Market Daily on December 30
Dec 30, 2024, at 6:16 pm
[December 30 SMM China Rare Earth Market Daily] Today, Pr-Nd prices remained relatively stable, while terbium and dysprosium prices continued to fluctuate upward. According to the SMM survey, some raw ore separation enterprises are currently considering production halts and maintenance in January. It is expected that China's rare earth oxide production in January will see a significant reduction MoM. Under these circumstances, the demand for raw ore from separation plants will also decline, leading to reduced trading volumes in the rare earth ore market. However, the reduction in rare earth oxide supply has kept suppliers' quotations firm, further tightening the availability of low-priced resources.
