Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 15, 2024, in Guangzhou, GAC AION, the new energy vehicle (NEV) maker of GAC Group, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with autonomous driving technology company Momenta, aiming to jointly advance the R&D, and mass production of high-level intelligent driving solutions.
Leveraging GAC AION’s expertise in NEV manufacturing and Momenta’s cutting-edge intelligent driving large models, the duo is expected to accelerate the adoption of smart driving technologies in the NEV sector, providing consumers worldwide with safer and more reliable mobility experiences.
GAC AION has accumulated significant expertise in NEV development and production, while Momenta holds leading autonomous driving algorithms. The two companies will work together to drive the commercialization of advanced intelligent driving solutions, including urban Navigated Driving Assist (NDA) systems. Momenta’s AI-driven, end-to-end deep learning algorithms will enhance safety and convenience for drivers, particularly in complex and extreme driving conditions. This partnership is poised to improve the product experience and reliability of mass-produced advanced driving systems, while also promoting their widespread application and accelerating automotive innovation.
