According to the latest release from the General Administration of Customs, in August 2024, China's SiMn alloy export volume was 1,832.25 mt, up 38.7% MoM. The cumulative export volume from January to August was 26,300 mt, down 28.15% YoY. In August 2024, China's SiMn alloy import volume was 1,211.93 mt, up 49.93% MoM. The cumulative import volume from January to August was 17,100 mt, up 153.94% YoY. The main exports of SiMn alloy came from Indonesia, while the main imports came from Malaysia.
