According to data from Indonesia's Trade Ministry, Indonesia's refined tin exports in August totaled 6,436.27 mt, up 29.12% YoY and 88% MoM. From January to August, Indonesia's cumulative tin ingot exports reached 24,600 mt, down 41% YoY.
At the beginning of the year, due to slow approval of export quotas, Indonesia's tin ingot exports plummeted to almost zero. After the approvals resumed in March, exports began to recover, with a significant increase in August, essentially returning to normal levels seen in previous years.
