SMM, September 12: According to an SMM survey, as of Thursday, September 12, the total zinc ingot inventory in seven regions stood at 113,400 mt. This represents a decrease of 10,500 mt compared to September 5 and a reduction of 4,200 mt compared to September 9, indicating a reduction in domestic inventory. Inventories in Shanghai, Guangdong, and Tianjin all decreased due to fewer deliveries to warehouses in these three regions during the week, with no improvement seen. Additionally, as the Mid-Autumn holiday approached, downstream enterprises continuously restocked raw materials, causing the inventories in these three regions to decline further. Overall, the inventory in these three regions decreased by 2,900 mt, and the total inventory in seven regions decreased by 4,200 mt.
