Beijing (Gasgoo)- On the evening of August 6, autonomous driving technology company iMotion announced the establishment of a joint venture with Shenzhen Hangsheng Electronics Co., Ltd. (HSAE) in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. This new company aims to be a leading high-tech enterprise in China, focusing on the R&D, production, and sales of integrated driving and cabin products.
According to the announcement, the joint venture will have a proposed registered capital of 100 million yuan, with iMotion and HSAE each holding a 50% stake. Both partners will contribute 50 million yuan in cash to the venture's registered capital.
iMotion has developed full-stack production capabilities covering L1 to L2++ autonomous driving solutions. The company offers comprehensive intelligent driving solutions, including integrated front-view machines and the iDC series of autonomous driving domain controllers. Currently, iMotion is developing next-generation integrated driving and cabin systems.
As of December 31, 2023, iMotion had delivered over 130,000 sets of autonomous driving solutions and products to its clients, representing a 58% spike compared to 2022. Major clients of the company include Geely, Great Wall Motor, Chery, and Dongfeng Motor.
Currently, iMotion is actively promoting the mass production of such integrated driving and cabin products. These products are designed to simultaneously achieve autonomous driving and intelligent cabin functions on a single chip, helping to reduce overall vehicle costs and enhance user experience.
