Content: According to SMM, the Shanghai Energy Storage Super Factory project officially began construction on the 23rd in the Lingang New Area of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone. As Tesla's first energy storage super factory project outside of the United States, the initial plan for the project is to produce 10,000 units of large-scale electrochemical commercial energy storage systems per year, with a storage capacity of nearly 40 gigawatt hours. Mass production is expected to be achieved in the first quarter of 2025.
