Beijing (Gasgoo)- On May 10, AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, announced its third production model was officially named the AVATR 07.
Recently, AVATR Technology’s president, Chen Zhuo, revealed the official spy shots of the AVATR 07. The car retains the brand's family design language, with distinctive split headlights and C-shaped LED daytime running lights. The futuristic and recognizable front face is accentuated by the grille, which retains ventilation slots for the range-extended electric (REEV) version showcased in the official images.
Measuring 4, 825mm in length, 1,980mm in width, 1,620mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,940mm, the AVATR 07 boasts a sleek side profile. Optional electronic side mirrors enhance its modern appeal, while panels on both sides of the rear feature a charging port on the left and a fuel cap on the right.
In terms of features, the AVATR 07 replaces the previous three-LiDAR configuration with a single roof-mounted LiDAR unit and integrates cameras into the side fenders. It will be available in REEV and BEV (battery electric vehicle) versions, powered by CATL’s new-generation fast-charging batteries.
AVATR currently offers two models on the market, the AVATR 11 and the AVATR 12, both of which are BEVs. The AVATR 12, which hit the market in November 2023, embodies the company’s "Future Elegance" design philosophy, offering a spacious integrated body design. Equipped with Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4 intelligent cockpit system and ADS 2.0 advanced intelligent driving system, it exemplifies AVATR's commitment to innovative design and technology.
