Beijing (Gasgoo)- Toyota Boshoku (China) Co., Ltd. reached partnership with DiDi Autonomous Driving on April 12 to collaboratively develop the next-generation intelligent cabins.
Under the agreement, Toyota Boshoku's four intelligent cabin technologies will be integrated into DiDi's autonomous driving vehicles for pilot testing in demonstration areas.
As a global leader in automotive seating and interior manufacturing, Toyota Boshoku prioritizes user-centric design, continuously developing and manufacturing more comfortable and convenient interior space products. The company’s smart cockpit product series integrates advanced systems such as cabin space cleaning, seamless entry and exit, space service systems, health and safety measures, diverse space design and layout, and green sustainable space features, catering to diverse usage scenarios and needs.
In this cooperation with DiDi Autonomous Driving focusing on intelligent cabins for Robotaxis, both parties selected projects closely related to passenger experience from Toyota Boshoku's intelligent cabin. These include private sound headrests, allowing passengers to enjoy personalized entertainment while interacting with others, relieving motion sickness symptoms through seat neck ventilation control technology, fabric with antibacterial properties in direct contact with passengers for a safe and secure ride, and seat vibration systems for departure and arrival reminders, enhancing passengers' travel experience.
