Beijing (Gasgoo)- AITO, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by SERES and Huawei, recently rolled out a significant OTA (Over-The-Air) upgrade across its entire lineup.
Notably, the upgrade introduced the full-scale nationwide deployment of urban NCA (Navigation Cruise Assistance) functionality, which does not rely on high-precision maps. This milestone positions AITO as the first new energy vehicle brand in the industry to achieve advanced intelligent driving capabilities across the entire country without the need for high-precision maps, said AITO.
Notably, the AITO M5 Intelligent Driving Edition and the all-new AITO M7 MAX Edition have additional features introduced through this OTA upgrade. These include Remote Parking Assist (RPA), HarmonyOS-related features, NCA support for automatic road speed matching, NCA support for proactive speed reduction before entering toll stations, and NCA support for switching to LCC (Lane Change Control) function.
Moreover, AITO’s urban NCA intelligent driving navigation assistance system can assist drivers to autonomously navigate to their destinations following navigation routes. This feature includes autonomous lane changing, traffic light detections, passing through intersections, and pedestrians’ right-of-way recognition functions. Importantly, it breaks free from the limitations of "urban areas" and transcends the boundaries of "cities." Whether on national highways, elevated roads, expressways, or even rural roads across the country, AITO vehicles can effortlessly navigate, delivering a true high-level intelligent driving experience that requires no high-precision maps.
