Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 30, JAC Group saw the 700,000th vehicle officially rolled off the production line at the JAC No.1 High-end and Electric Light Truck Production Base.
The journey from the inaugural high-end light-duty truck to the 700,000th vehicle spanned 6 years and 5 months, highlighting the consistent growth of JAC's production capabilities.
With a planned area of 3,900 mu (roughly 2.6 square kilometers), a total investment of 5.5 billion yuan, and an annual production capacity of 200,000 vehicles, JAC Group's world-class light-duty truck factory commenced operations on August 8, 2017.
Built with the highest standards, the facility integrates automation, information technology, intelligence, and green manufacturing, incorporating agile manufacturing practices. It has systematically implemented Volkswagen's quality management tools, significantly enhancing manufacturing process capabilities.
Adopting a customer-centric approach and leveraging industrial internet technologies, the factory has embraced a digital and intelligent manufacturing system centered around the "supply-production-sales-logistics-service" framework. With a highly transparent production process, the intelligent scheduling rate in the assembly workshop and the digital application rate of key equipment both stand at 100%. Achieving a production cycle of 60 vehicles per hour and a one-minute vehicle roll-off capability, the factory has excelled in delivering customized orders, ensuring high-quality production, effective quality control, and efficient delivery.
