The rebar rolling line operating rate in central China declined slightly, but the output increased slightly. Specifically, the increase in output mainly comes from the rolling lines that resumed production in Henan at the end of the previous cycle, and their output changes are mainly reflected in this period; at the same time, two rolling lines in Hubei stopped production, dragging down the overall operating rate. The Hunan region has not changed much overall. In terms of factory warehouses, steel mills in Hubei adjusted their output, and some steel mills in Henan transferred their inventories to social warehouses.
It is expected that the weekly output of rebar in central China may turn from increase to decrease next week. This is mainly due to the fact that most EF steel mills in the region will stop production, dragging down the rebar supply.
The operating rate of wire rod in central China declined. Specifically, the impact on output of the production resumption of rolling lines at Henan steel mills at the end of the previous period was reflected, dragging down overall output. However, EF steel mills in Hubei suspended production, resulting in a decline in the operating rate of rolling lines. The inventory in the factory was transferred to the social warehouse, slightly pushing down the inventory in the factory.
It is expected that the output of wire rods in central China will drop significantly next week, mainly because there are new plans for EF plants to stop production at the end of the year in Hubei and Henan, undermining the output.
