As of Friday December 22, the inventory of zinc ingots in the Shanghai bonded zone stood at 800 mt, down 2,300 mt from a week earlier. The import window closed during the week, but the shipments from bonded zone inventories which had locked in the SHFE/LME zinc price ratio previously drove continued declines in bonded zone inventories.
