According to SMM research and tracking, pig iron output losses triggered by maintenance of BFs totalled 6.76 million mt in November, up 1.07 million mt MoM.
In December, there will mainly be planned and routine maintenance of BFs. Positive macro expectations will linger. According to SMM's latest maintenance data, December will witness maintenance of additional 6 BFs and scheduled restart of 8 BFs, affecting 6.57 million mt of pig iron output in December, down 190,000 mt MoM.
