Atlantic Lithium, the African-focused lithium company which set to establish Ghana’s first lithium mine, has secured new prospecting licenses at Bewadze and Senya Beraku, adding to its expanding exploration drillings pace. On November 15, the next day following the license announcement, the company disclosed that it had rejected two acquisition offers each worth around £200 million ($250 million). from major shareholder Assore International Holdings, on the ground of undervaluation. The shares surged 22% after the disclosure.
Atlantic Lithium has shown strong confidence in its ability to stand out among African lithium miners. The proximity to the Egyasimanku Hill spodumene occurrence suggests a high potential for significant lithium deposits, further strengthening the valuation prospects.
