As of August 22, a total of 5 construction central state-owned enterprises announced the amount of their newly signed contracts from January to July. The total newly signed contract value is about 4169.07 billion yuan, an increase of 10.47% compared with last year’s 3,773.93 billion yuan. From the perspective of the contract value, China State Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CSCEC) ranks first, with a newly signed contract value of 2,446.80 billion yuan from January to July, far exceeding the other four enterprises. Specifically, the newly signed contract value of the company’s construction business was 2,177.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.8%. The real estate business grew rapidly, with contracted sales of 269 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 30.4%. The contracted sales area was 10.91 million square meters, a year-on-year increase of 34.6%. From the perspective of year-on-year growth rate, CSCEC’s new contract value from January to July increased by 12.7% YoY, ranking first. China Nuclear Engineering & Construction Corporation Limited fell by 6.79% YoY, which has declined for two consecutive months.
