SHANGHAI, Aug 21 (SMM) –
As of August 18, nickel ore arrivals at Chinese ports totaled 1.3745 million wmt, up 51% WoW. The weekly arrivals at ports showed a slight increase, which is in line with expectations. This is mainly due to the ongoing peak period of nickel ore shipments, as demand for nickel ore remains strong. In terms of specific ports, the increase in imported nickel ore was mainly concentrated at Ningde Port, Yangjiang Port, and Lianyungang Port, which was consistent with the main ports that saw increase previous week. It is expected that there will be an upcoming increase in arrivals at ports.
