SHANGHAI, Aug 14 (SMM) –
According to SMM research, pure nickel inventory in six regions across China stood at 6,370 mt last week, down 125 mt from August 4. In detail, the inventory of nickel briquettes was 310 mt last week, up 60 mt WoW, and that of nickel plates was 6,060 mt, down 365 mt. Due to a significant decline in SHFE nickel prices, some downstream enterprises stockpiled nickel plates last week, leading to a slight improvement in demand. It is expected that there will be a slight fall in social inventory of pure nickel this week because downstream enterprises continue to make purchases.
