SMM believes that the output in June may continue to rise. The main reason is that three domestic DMC enterprises plan to resume work in June, and the output is bound to increase. At the same time, there are currently no more domestic companies planning long-term maintenance.
In terms of cost, the price of #421 industrial silicon has been decreasing recently, and the current cost reduction is very obvious.
Based on the current DMC price, losses at producers turned to profits, and the enterprises’ enthusiasm of starting work improved. However, in the long run, when the operating rates of enterprises further improve, the supply of silicone market will be in surplus again, and the support for prices will weaken.
