As the largest aluminium importer in the Asian region, its quarterly primary aluminium premium negotiations finalize the benchmark for the region.
In the April-June quarter, Japanese buyers agreed to a premium of $125-130/mt for primary aluminium, an increase of 45-53% from the previous quarter.
