Prices of lithium carbonate rebounded last week. After the Labour Day holidays, market activity remained strong, and market inquiries were brisk. This, combined with sellers holding back cargoes, pushed up spot prices.
Prices are believed to have been dominated by market sentiment.
Given the current oversupply, prices will return to rationality in the near term if demand fails to pick up.
