The most-traded SHFE 2306 aluminium contract opened at 18,415 yuan/mt on Thursday and climbed to 18,555 yuan/mt on the same day, but fell to 18,235 yuan/mt on Friday before closing at 18,320 yuan/mt as of CST 15:00, down 150 yuan/mt or 0.81% on the week.
LME aluminium opened at $2,365/mt on Monday, with its weekly low and high at $2,284/mt and $2,387/mt respectively before trading at $2,299.5/mt as of CST 15:00 on Friday, a drop of $65.5/mt or 2.77% on the week.
