SHANGHAI, Apr 28 (SMM) – Alumina prices was flat at $353/mt FOB Western Australia this week, equivalent to about 3,043 yuan/mt CIF major ports in China after counting in ocean freight of $25.7/mt, which was 148 yuan/mt higher than the domestic spot prices. The import window has been closed since January 18.
In China's domestic market, the SMM weighted alumina index stood at 2,895 yuan/mt as of Friday April 28, a drop of 3 yuan/mt from a week ago.
