The US dollar fluctuated upwards today. As of 15:01 CST, the US dollar index rose 0.26%.
As of the closing of the intraday trading, most the SHFE base metals closed with gains.
Only SHFE aluminium and SHFE lead prices recorded declines to varying degrees. SHFE aluminium fell 0.54%, and SHFE lead dipped 0.2%. The rest of the metals all moved up.
SHFE tin rose and led gains of SHFE base metals, closing 2.04% higher.
SHFE nickel prices rose 1.3%. SHFE copper prices rose 0.96%, and SHFE zinc rose 0.24%.
In terms of ferrous metals, prices fell across the board except for stainless steel.
