According to the latest research report by the CITI Securities, with players in Chinese lithium battery industry chain accelerating their destocking process in the first quarter of this year, their inventories are expected to be basically depleted in the second quarter.
Meanwhile, the production schedules of battery makers and battery material producers may gradually increase in the second and third quarter, which will allow raw material purchases to pick up, thus putting an end to the lithium price downward trend.
