SHANGHAI, Apr 24 (SMM) – World Bank President Malpass said on April 10 that the global economy will be weak this year, but China will be an exception.
China's GDP in 2023 was expected to grow by more than 5%. The Optimisation and adjustment of China's pandemic control and prevention policies will help improve China's and global economic growth prospects.
He said that China's informal investment is strong, and that monetary policy has room for counter-cyclical adjustments. In the meantime, the government has been encouraging the growth of the service industry, especially healthcare and tourism.
