SHANGHAI, Dec 30 (SMM) – LME tin inventories continued to fall last week, falling to an eight-month low of 2,855 mt as of December 23, according to the London Metal Exchange (LME). The inventories increased yesterday, and stood at 2,930 mt.
SHFE tin inventories fell last week, ending an increase of six consecutive days, according to the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE). In the week of December 23, SHFE tin inventories decreased by 16.88% to 4,901 mt.
Generally speaking, the continuous decline of inventory in domestic and foreign exchanges will provide a support for the futures prices, and vice versa.
