SHANGHAI, Dec 29 (SMM) - According to news, nearly a thousand employees of PT GNI held a protest in North Morowali recently, asking the management to make a commitment to the safety of employees, and put forward demands on salary, allowances, working time, etc. In the second half of December, the explosion of coal dust in PT GNI No.2 Smelter resulted in the death of employees, and the corresponding two production lines were shut down for overhaul. According to SMM data, 25*33,000 production lines of the first phase of PT GNI are tentatively planned to be put into production, which is scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2023.
