SHANGHAI, Dec 28 (SMM) – Recently, the prices of rare earth have continued to rise. Dysprosium oxide and terbium oxide were quoted at 2,470-2,510 yuan/kg and 13,920-13,980 yuan/kg, respectively, setting a new high in the past six months.
As early as the beginning of this month, rare earth prices have stabilised before rallying.
CITIC Securities believes that with the strong support of supply and demand as well as policies, the industry chain will make steady progress in profitability from Q4 2022 to Q1 2023.
In 2023, the prices of rare earths may continue to rise, and the profits of the industry chain are expected to continue to pick up.
