SHANGHAI, Dec 26 (SMM) - SMM statistics showed that China’s port shipments of steel and related products under domestic trade totalled 5.4 million mt in the week of December 17-23, down 3% week-on-week.
Arrivals across Chinese ports under domestic trade were 4.75 million mt last week, down 961,800 mt on a weekly basis.
Port shipments outside China were 1.57 million mt last week, down 4% from a week ago. Shipments by Chinese ports for exports were 1.6 million mt, a drop of 14% on a weekly basis.
