SHANGHAI, Dec 26 (SMM) -SMM statistics showed that the global iron ore shipments totalled 33.85 million mt in the week ending December 23, a drop of 2% week-on-week.
The four major mining companies shipped a combined 24.62 million mt of iron ore last week, a drop of 1.3 million mt from a week earlier.
Iron ore arrivals at Chinese ports dropped 2.4% on a weekly basis to 23.72 million mt last week.
