SHANGHAI, Dec 26 (SMM) - According to customs data, China's aluminium foil exports were 106,600 mt in November, a decrease of 6% month-on-month and 7% year-on-year. The cumulative exports from January to November totalled 1.36 million mt, a year-on-year increase of 12%.
India (10,500 mt) and Thailand (8,500 mt) remained the top buyers. The US, Mexico, United Arab Emirates and South Korea were among the top 10 destinations. Exports to the top 10 destinations were 61,500 mt, accounting for 58% of the total exports.
Overseas orders remained sluggish due to the off-season. Export volume is expected to remain low this month. However, considering the enormous export volume in Q2, the full-year exports are estimated to rise to 1.45 million mt.
