SHANGHAI, Dec 22 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 5.14 million mt as of Thursday December 22, up 113,700 mt or 2.3% from a week ago, and up 5.2% from the same period last year.
The inventory across social warehouses was 3.29 million mt, up 17,400 mt or 0.53% on the week, and a gain of 4.9% on the year.
The in-plant inventory stood at 1.84 million mt, up 96,300 mt or 5.5% on the week, and up 5.8% on the year.
