SHANGHAI, Oct 25 (SMM) - In the spot market, on October 25, the premiums of Jinchuan nickel were quoted at 8,000-8,500 yuan/mt, with an average price of 8,250 yuan/mt, flat from the previous trading day. NORNICKEL nickel premiums were quoted at 2,800 -3,000 yuan/mt, down 250 yuan/mt from the previous trading day yuan/mt.
The premiums of pure nickel continue to fall, but the supply of spot Jinchuan nickel is generally tight during October. Coupled with the current severe pandemic, decline in premiums of Jinchuan nickel is limited. In terms of nickel briquette, the price of nickel briquette was 189,500-190,500 yuan/mt, up 50 yuan from yesterday. Due to the high nickel briquette prices, the economy effectiveness of nickel briquette weakened and the transactions of nickel briquette were poor.
