SHANGHAI, Oct 8 (SMM) - The US non-farm payrolls increased by 263,000 in September, exceeding the expectation of 255,000. The previous reading was 315,000. The unemployment rate was 3.5% in September, lower than the expected 3.7%, and the previous reading in August was 3.7%. Average hourly wages rose steadily. The average value increased 5% year-on-year in September with an estimate of 5.1%. The previous reading in August was 5.2%.
