SHANGHAI, Sep 28 (SMM) - The average operating rate of blast furnaces at steel mills rose 0.45 percentage point from a week ago to 94.06% as of September 28, SMM survey showed. The utilisation rate of blast furnace capacity stood at 94.62%, up 0.74 percentage point from the previous week. The daily average pig iron output of sample steel mills rose 27,200 mt week-on-week to 2.23 million mt. The daily average pig iron output of across China is estimated at 2.70 million mt, up 32,500 mt on the week.
