SHANGHAI, Aug 25 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 6.75 million mt as of Thursday August 25, down 158,000 mt or 2.3% on the week, and down 40% from the same period last year.
The inventory across social warehouses was 4.58 million mt, a decrease of 208,000 mt or 4.34% on the week, and a drop of 41.4% on the year.
The in-plant inventory stood at 2.17 million mt, up 50,000 mt and 2.4% on the week, and down 36.6% on the year.
