SHANGHAI, Aug 10 (SMM) - SMM data shows that in July, the domestic polysilicon output was 58,400 mt, down 4.58% on the month. The monthly supply of domestic polysilicon declined continuously in June and July. According to SMM research, domestic polysilicon enterprises basically maintained full-capacity production in the early stage due to the tight polysilicon supply. In July, in order to ensure normal equipment and production safety, many major polysilicon enterprises successively carried out routine maintenance, including GCL, Daqo, etc. In addition, two production lines of East Hope Group were suspended for the whole month due to an unexpected accident at the end of June. Therefore, the supply of polysilicon decreased immediately in July.
