Last week, the SHFE/LME zinc price ratio fell below 8.5. The Swedish mining company Boliden suspended the production at Europe’s largest zinc mine in Ireland in the second half of the week, and the price of natural gas in Europe rose rapidly. LME zinc prices thus gained ground.
