According to Miningnews.net, Auravelle Metals reported that drilling at the Sheoak prospect within its Nuckulla Hill project in South Australia has intersected "extensive high-grade" gold mineralization.

Key results from reverse circulation drilling completed in November include:

28 meters of mineralization grading 3.4 g/t gold from 48 meters depth, including 4 meters at 12.7 g/t gold and 4 meters at 5.6 g/t gold.

This mineralization lies within a broader anomaly starting at 48 meters depth, measuring 60 meters thick and averaging 1.7 g/t gold.

The "true width" of the orebody is currently unknown.

The company stated that follow-up exploration is planned based on the latest results.

"The entire anomaly extends over 600 meters, with mineralization intersected along at least 200 meters of strike," the company said.

"Importantly, the gold mineralization remains open to the north and south, requiring further verification."

Sheoak is located within the Yarlbrinda Shear Zone, near Barton Gold's Tunkillia project, which has a resource of 1.6 million ounces.
