Today, the spot prices of #1 copper cathode in North China against the front-month contract were at a discount of 600-400 yuan/mt, with an average discount of 500 yuan/mt, up 30 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. The transaction price ranged from 97,880-99,140 yuan/mt, with an average price of 98,510 yuan/mt, up 1,180 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. On the last trading day of 2025, most upstream and downstream companies conducted year-end settlements, and the market entered a holiday state. Today, the procurement sentiment for copper cathode in North China was 1.01, unchanged from the previous trading day, while the sales sentiment was 1.05, down 0.20 from the previous trading day ().
